The Radio Controlled Air Swimmer Flying Fish - Shark comes complete with everything you need to fly it (including batteries), except for Helium. You will need to fill the Air Swimmer with Helium before it will fly. There are 2 options for obtaining this Helium either buy a helium canister and fill up the Air Swimmer in your own home or take the Air Swimmer to a Helium supplier (party shops, florists). In the box there is a tether that can be used to take the Air Swimmer foil back after it is filled up with Helium. Do this before adding the electronics and fins. Full details on the simple assembly and more information on where to obtain Helium are given in the instructions enclosed.

3. How do I get helium for my Air Swimmer?
In the United States, you can take the balloon to any grocery, florist or party store that sells balloons. They will fill the Air Swimmer for you for a small fee (about $1-3 is our experience). You can also buy a small helium tank at a party store, which will fill several Air Swimmers. Before you take the filled balloon outside, please tie it to the ribbon included in the package so that it doesn’t blow away.
4. How much helium does it take to fill an Air Swimmer?
An Air Swimmer needs about 4.1 cubic feet of helium.
5. How long do Air Swimmers last?
Air Swimmers are made of a durable nylon material. After you fill the balloon with helium, it will stay filled for about two weeks depending of altitude and temperature. You can refill the balloon over and over.
6. Why do you say that Air Swimmers are for indoor use only?
In order to float, Air Swimmers must weigh very little. This means that any wind or outdoor air current can easily blow the Air Swimmer away, and you’ll never see it again. When flying Air Swimmers indoors, turn off ceiling fans and watch out for strong air currents from ventilation systems. Before you take the filled balloon outside, please tie it to the ribbon included in the package so that it doesn’t blow away.
